Green & White Benefit

The Benefit, named after the school’s colors, is held biennially; it is the school’s largest community-building and fundraising event. This year’s theme was Derby: Race for the Future. In addition to other design assets, I created animated GIFs–for use in emails and social media–and an animated advertisement for the event.

Give From the Heart: Annual Giving Day

Animated a sparkle effect for Sacred Heart’s logo, featured in “Give from the Heart” departmental giving videos shared through social media and email marketing, and designed a lead-in border intro to unify the campaign’s promotional content.

Nacre

Created for the 2023 Marist College Senior Thesis Exhibition. This project follows my personal experience of the loss of my mother and highlights the nonlinear nature of grief.

I strung my pearls and watched them fall apart. Nacre, the mother of pearl. Oysters create strong, yet delicate, spheres as a defense mechanism caused by damage to their bodies. Remembering, I tried to heal what I lost through the process of creation, to recreate the warmth of nostalgia and animate life into it again. In my attempt to be an oyster, I create a pearl.

The projection of the animation onto a suspended sheet of translucent plastic helped evoke the fleeting and hazy qualities of memory.

Lil’ Iguana Children’s Safety Foundation

This foundation provides music-based learning to teach children about serious topics. Along with the Lil’ Iguana waving video intro and Harm Alarm Music Video, I created GIFs of their Lil’ Iguana character.
